When I came to the United States from Armenia in 1992, I experienced cultural shock. Due to my immersion in this completely new culture, I often wondered if I should think with my instincts from my Armenian heritage or as a new and proud American. However, as the years went by, I found a balance between Armenian and American perspectives that enabled me to combine the best of both worlds. I could relate to people from other countries with ease, and understand the way in which their thought and decision making process worked. Understanding these two paradigms has played an integral role in the shaping of my goals and aspirations as a career woman.
My professional experience thus far has been diverse yet always relevant to my career goals: Banking and Real Estate. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in Finance and Economics, I joined Deutsche Bank where I spent my time learning about Structured Finance products and services. I continued my career advancement at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. where I learned about Asset Backed, Mortgaged Backed Securities and Bond Analytics. Soon I realized that it was time to expand my knowledge in the Real Estate market. As a result I obtained a Real Estate Salesperson License and have first hand experience in buying and selling homes.
Given my experiences I can easily relate to people from different backgrounds and everyone is welcome to benefit from my service.
