Renee Nasr was born, raised and educated in Lebanon, where she worked as an executive assistant at Mercedes Benz. She immigrated to Boston, MA in 1979 with her husband and two young boys, and then moved to Cliffside Park, NJ the following year. In 1991, when her older son, George was in high school, Renee realized that her current job as a full time Mom was coming to an end, so she decided to pursue a career. Real Estate was a natural choice for her, since her twin sister, Yvonne worked as a sales associate and office administrator at Century 21 J. Lee Realty.
Her decision was indeed a smart one – her generous nature and nurturing attitude won her the respect and admiration of many buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants, which in turn led to a myriad of referrals, and therefore closings!
She started her career at Century 21 Calabrese Realty in 1992, but moved to Key Prestige Realty after her first year. The following year, Renee won the NJAR Million Dollar Sales Club Award (presently known as the NJAR Circle of Excellence Sales Award), and has consistently won it each year since 1995! She worked at Key Prestige Realty for many years and experienced many changes: an office move, franchising, company growth, and market fluctuations. During this period in her life, she experienced many personal changes as well: her sons graduated from college, and started their careers, her husband retired, they sold their home in Cliffside Park and moved to Fort Lee, and she decided that it was time to make a professional move.
In 2001 Renee moved to Prudential Elia Real Estate, where her twin sister, Yvonne was one of the top producing sales associates and her future daughter-in-law, Nikki was office manager. Nikki left the office to pursue a lucrative career as a mortgage loan officer for Ivanhoe Financial soon after, and a few years later the twin sisters decided it was time for them to leave as well and start something for their families’ future generations.
In 2004 their dream became a reality! They opened their own real estate office in Fort Lee, and Nikki joined them as office manager. Since that time, Renee obtained her Broker’s license and is now a Broker-Salesperson, they have franchised with ERA and became ERA Winning Team Realty, her younger son, Joe became a real estate developer and started Prolific Development, her older son, George became an Architect and married Nikki, and their small Fort Lee office has grown to 16 sales associates!
Over the last 15 years, Renee has successfully moved many families as well as her own. Her skills come from years of hard work, dedication, and the confidence, that no matter what comes her way, she’ll handle it with the grace and integrity that she is capable of. There is little that surprises her in the real estate world, having experienced many trends, sold over 35 million dollars worth of homes, and helped hundreds of families achieve the American Dream!
